How safe are the treatments?
Our number one priority is keeping you and your property safe. We use both chemical and non chemical products all of these have been approved by ERMA (Enviromental Risk Management Authority of New Zealand.
Unlike “Spray Jockeys” we will use the correct procedures and chemicals for your pest problem.
What do I need to do for a spider control treatment
- Do not remove any spiders webs prior to the treatment.
- Do not remove any spiders webs, for a minimum of 14 days after the treatment.
- Do not clean windows for 14 days after the treatment
How long does it last?
For spider and fly treatments it’s a full season so if you house is treated now we would suggest getting it treated the same time next year.
Will it the treatment stop flies and spider coming inside?
The only way to stop 100% of flies and spiders from entering your home is to install fly screens but this is a very costly procedure. The synthetic pyrethroids we use will kill off any insects that come into contact with it and also will deter flies from entering your property.
What chemicals do you spray our property with?
Each job is treated individually so our products can vary. Usually your house will be treated with a “Synthetic Pyrethroid” which is a synthetic version of pyrethrum found in daisy’s.
We always have information on the products we use so don’t hesitate to ask.
Do you price match?
Although you may find cheaper options out there we do not compromise on your safety or the best products for the job. We will however provide the most economical solution to your pest needs and will not sell you something you do not need. Please refer to our price guide for more details.
Do I have to leave the property during a treatment?
For interior treatments you will need to be away from the house for at least 3 hours, after the treatment.
For exterior treatments you can stay at home if you remain inside, and close all the doors and windows.
What do I need to do when I return?
Open up all the doors and windows for atleast 10 minutes.
Wipe down all the food preparation surfaces before you use them even though these have been covered.
